- You are able to dictate how you want to be cared for and pick who represents you
- To protect your finances and estate, allowing someone to assist you with your day to days finances
Lasting Powers of Attorney are only valid if you haven't been put under pressure to create it and if you are mentally able to understand the outcome of the document. This is certified at the time of the document is written.
